Saakshar Educational Trust has two scholarships for students

Saksham Bharat Advance Scholarship

The Saksham Bharat Advance Scholarship is an initiative of Saakshar Educational Trust (SET) to support the higher education of students belonging to economically weaker sections of the society. Under this scholarship programmer, the students studying in undergraduate (general and professional) degree programmer will be provided with a scholarship to fulfil their academic dreams.

Eligibility

  • An applicant must be enrolled in a professional undergraduate degree programmer
  • They must have scored at least 60% marks in the preceding class.
  • The annual family income must be less than or equal to INR 4,00,000 from all sources.

Selection – Initial shortlisting of applicants is based on their academic merit and financial background.

Documents Required

  • Photo identity proof (Aadhaar Card)
  • Passport size photograph
  • Proof of admission (school/college ID card/Bonafide certificate, etc.)
  • Current academic year fee receipt
  • Bank account details of the scholarship applicant (cancelled cheque/passbook copy)
  • Marksheets or grade card of preceding class
  • Disability & Caste certificate (if applicable)

Note: This is a one-time scholarship subject to the availability of donation. Since, this is not a government scholarship and is dependent on donations by people, students who do not have parents or fatherly-figure to support the family will be preferred.

Savitribai Phule Basic Scholarship

The Savitribai Phule Basic Scholarship is an initiative of Saakshar Educational Trust (SET) to support the higher education of students belonging to economically weaker sections of the society. Under this scholarship programmer, the students studying in Class 6 to Class 12 will be provided with a scholarship to fulfil their basic education fees.

Eligibility

  • An applicant must be enrolled in a school
  • They must have scored at least 60% marks in the preceding class.
  • The annual family income must be less than or equal to INR 4,00,000 from all sources.

Selection – Initial shortlisting of applicants is based on their academic merit and financial background.
